fashion is all over the place in this era.
There's women flashing back to the 20's, 30's when fashion was simple elegant lines.
-To the now ecceletic futuristi'isc infamous lady gaga has taken and mutalated.
We follow trends, and we replace them
That's the life of fashion.
living and dying
we thought that 2000 would bring, hoover boards and high sneakers that fit to your shoe size.
we thought you'd have flying cars in every home, or atleast one that looks like it could fly.
BUTTTTT:
They still sell toyota's with the same body kit they did 5 years ago ; the most futuristic automobile sold is the hybrid.
(The car of the future)Really. this is what we've done pertaining to the future.
In this day and age we have slowed in our technical advances, as well as our fashion.
From the beginning of time, every era was changing to one day slow to reach what is now 2010.
Now a days we combine old with new, and new with old.
Which way will we go in the near future or will we just continue to embrace all era's of fashion for decades to come?
What is this new decade going to bring us?
A mixture of hobo chic, or glamour rock, which route will we take?
Artist try to verge the two together
Beyonce is one of those artist that sometimes her alter ego (as she puts) presents itself on stage, her alter ego being this woman of the future that is outlandish and voictrious.
I am not a basher of the music world, because I believe all music represent's a form of expression and release.
Sadly on occasion beyonce seems to be eogtistical and too good for herself
But other's she is relatable and human.
Beyond that she is absolutely beautiful and has broadened the world of fashion and her Mother has left us all speechless with her line and the way she knows the shapes of the female body.
1920's and 1930's has graced our magazines numerous of times.
Something so timeless about these pieces; help to exist from that time into now
We had our fashion faults; Skipping through the 80's with Jinco wide legs, and the 70's tye dye
the 20's and 30's have represented it's formal lines and combination of color with nude simplifications, perfectly to the seam.
Then there is this tradegy; I am all for celebrating one's self expession and the need to be noticed.
Plenty of designers make these fashions for runway only but lady gaga brings them to the front and isn't afraid at all
of what is said about her.
Then I guess I must jump on the band wagon as one who is frightened sometime by her need at all times to be the center of attention with her outlandish appeal. This is not , appealing it is questionable to her sanity if you ask me.
Her music is different and I do enjoy some of it, I've never been a house, techno type of girl so I can say I am far from one of the groupie followers. Which i have never been to any artist I just appreciate the music
but really.
you can't be serious what juju juice is she drinking.
she is insane, and has the balls of the
jolly green giant.
fashion is beyond stepping outside the box and losing your noodle it's about expressing yourself not exposing yourself
About confidence and and age oppropriate materials.
But i see things through a different light then some of the people of the world.
Standing out I believe can either be those two ways;
your either doing something we've never seen before, or doing something we've seen but perfecting it.
We are stunned by perfection and the ability to connect our vision of what it is, and accomplishing it.
Art is what I see when I see the photo on the right, and fashion is what I see when I look at the photos on the left.
That is my particular taste and my particular vision.
But can you go out in public with the outfit in the right.
Or is that what the future brings.
becase when my ass is 90
im not wearing that.
I see the exitence of our future being notified for it's expression in clothing and combination of make up and hair and shoes.
I see the combination of all things classical and futuristic in a consolidated package
and will be birthed to the world something's will never change.
but the one thing that always will is the clothes we wear.
:) Thanks!
